VBS June 17-21, 2013
VBS is open to children who are 3 years old and potty trained through those who have completed 7th grade.
We're excited to have all of the children back for another wonderful year of VBS. This is a free opportunity that our congregation offers to the community. We look forward to lots of music, crafts, lessons, memory, and games while learning about the love of Christ. Our theme this year is "Go Tell It," and will focus on Mountain Top Experiences with God and His People.

Offerings
Offerings this year will go to the Lutheran Malaria Initiative to buy mosquito nets. Each net is $10. Our goal will be to raise $1,200 for 1,200 mosquito nets. Children can bring an offering each day and envelopes will be in their take-home bags.
Cookie Donations
We rely heavily on families to donate homemade cookies-without nuts- to provide snacks for the children each day. In the special notes please indicate if you are willing to donate cookies and how many dozen. They can be brought any day of the week and dropped off in the kitchen upon arrival.
Closing Picnic
On Friday, June 21st there is a closing program at 11:20-about noon with a picnic following. Each family will receive a sign-up the week of VBS so that we can properly plan for food. Thank you.
Free T-Shirt Information
In order to provide free t-shirts with for all of the children and volunteers it's important to register early. If you register by Wednesday, May 22nd your child will be guaranteed the shirt size they request. All children will receive a t-shirt, but we cannot guarantee the desired size if they register later. We ask that children wear them each day as it helps us easily identify the children attending. Thank you!
Online registration will close Thursday, June 13th.
Classes with Friends
We do our best to allow friends to be together if they are registered early and request to be together. Please understand that because of how we are set up the following are what we are able to accommodate: 3 year olds and 4 year olds together, 5 year olds and Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade, and 3rd-5th grade. 6th and 7th graders are already all grouped together. Please list the grade that your child has just completed, not what they will enter into in the fall!
